Can a person born with the AIDS virus transmit the infection to a partner? I have been kind of curious about this, as my best friend has congenital AIDS, contracted it at or before birth as it goes. Recently, there have been an increasing number of people (interested men more specifically) asking about her condition. I would like to know if because it is congenital, does that mean that it is less likely to be transmitted or are the chances equally likely as someone infected through sexual activity?

This topic is really interesting. Every year many people have died because of AIDS so it is better to become aware in regard with this topic. :)

Enough knowledge will make a big difference. It is good that in an early stage, we have to know if we are infected or not so we have to test ourselves. ;)

We can use elisa kit to identify the substances inside our body. It can identify a lot of diseases in one's body.

Is it common for financial aids to take longer than usual to get verified? I've had taken out financial aids for college last year and the year before but this time, it's taking longer than usual for my 2008-09 application to get verified, even though I submit it almost three months ago. College already started for me and I'm still waiting for the loans to come in. Just curious if anyone else have this kind of problem as well.
